Hello! I'm Nanny Rowan. Thank you for stopping by. I am excited to share my services with you.

As you can see from the photos below, I have been loving on children since I was 9 years old. Over 20 years ago! That is when I became an auntie for the first time. Since then I have gained 7 more nieces and nephews, a god daughter and a god son. I spent my tweens caring for my nieces and nephews when my oldest sister needed a break. Ask me about the time I changed two under two while keeping them from rolling off the couch or opening the slider to escape. I was barely ten!

I have loved every minute of caring for the children in my life. They are now late teens and early twenties. I learned so much that has stuck with me and given me the tools to support children as they grow and discover their world. When I learned that I could use those skills and have a life long career I was thrilled. My experience, combined with my 2018 Doulas of North America International training will provide your family with a well rounded nanny who can support you however you need.

I am CPR certified and have been since I was 16 years old. I have a clean driving record and love adventuring with kiddos to places like the Museum of Science or to local hiking favorites. This means that if you aren't comfortable with someone taking your children out of the house we won't be a good fit.

When I'm not taking care of children you can find me on stage with local community theater groups, reading a good book, crocheting or baking in my kitchen. I almost always have music on in the background. Singing is my hidden passion. You will catch me singing lullabies to your baby if you look in on us during nap time.
